ZUMPT (1957) divided the Oestroidea into: (i) Oestridae, with sub households Cephenemyiinae, Oestrinae and Hypodermatinae; (ii) Gasterophilidae (with subfamilies Gasterophilinae, Gyrostigminae and Cobboldiinae); and (iii) Calliphoridae, together with, between others, the subfamily Cuterebrinae. i'm contemplating as Oestroidea, for functional reasons, purely teams: 1. The Cavicolae (Fam.
