The practices were instructed by qualified TC masters. Joggers were recruited from a large health center for older people where active individuals participate in regular exercise programs. The old subjects who participated in the sedentary control group were recruited from a large housing estate in the city. From the assessment of the collected information, a total of 61 old people were recruited in this study. The TC group was composed of 21 subjects with 4 or more years of TC experience.
