Conclusions A few comments: - Knowing international environment is an essential prerequisite in CIM : methods, tools, systems which are becoming "de jure" or "de facto H standards, integration limits that can be achieved to day or tomorrow, etc. All these parameters govern investment and development effort. - Sophistication of systems integration often needs in a modular approach, adapted to the state of the art in each activity and to the investment capability. Nevertheless such an approach must be organized within a general framework, approved at enterprise top level.
